Golf and safari

You are already in the region for golf. The fairways around Mossel Bay and George sit close to the coast. Gondwana Game Reserve sits on the Garden Route, inland of Mossel Bay, within an easy drive of those courses. A safari stay can sit beside your golf days rather than replace them.

How a safari sits beside golf

Morning and afternoon game drives run from the lodge each day. On a golf day you can leave after breakfast, play a round at a course within reach and return for the afternoon drive. On a quieter day you take both drives and leave the clubs for tomorrow.

The reserve does not take day visitors. Your safari is an overnight stay so the quiet holds for guests and for the wildlife.

A two night stay

Arrive in time for the afternoon game drive on your first evening. The next morning you can play a nearby course and return for the afternoon drive, or take both drives and keep a golf day for after you leave. On your last morning a final drive before you continue along the Garden Route or toward George Airport.

Two nights give four game drives and room for one full golf day from the reserve. Reservations can shape the stay around the courses you plan to play.
