Kwena Villas
Your own villa, three minutes from Kwena lodge, for families and friends travelling together.
Twelve villas stand beside Kwena Lodge, each with three or four bedrooms and an open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining table, made for gathering. Every villa opens onto a wraparound deck, with the mountains in view, and children aged twelve and over are welcome.
A Kwena Villa is a home of your own, three minutes from the lodge, with transfers to and from the lodge included. Prefer to drive yourself? You’re welcome to use your own vehicle. The day moves between the two: the lodge for the infinity pool, the bar and the long dinner tables, and your villa for the quiet in between, with room for everyone to gather on the deck or find a corner of their own. It is made for families and friends travelling together.
The deck of your villa is for the hours in between. Between meals, activities and game drives, it is where everyone comes back together with the mountains in view, trading safari stories and telling the day again, each version a little different.
Kwena’s quiet reaches the villas too, so they welcome guests aged twelve and over. Families with younger children will feel at home at Lehele, where the day runs on their clock.

Good to know
- Guests aged twelve and over, with families who have younger children at home at Lehele
- Families with younger children stay at Lehele
- Guided fynbos bush walks and e-bike safaris are part of your stay, each with a Gondwana guide. Spa treatments are available at an additional cost.
- e-Bike safaris are for riders aged 16 and over, and anyone under 18 rides with an adult present and with parent or guardian consent. The roads are natural gravel, and riding is at your own risk.
- As this is Big Five country, guests travel between their villa and the lodge by transfer, which is included, or in their own vehicle, never on foot.
A conservation fee is charged separately for each stay and goes to the Gondwana Conservation Foundation, which funds the reserve’s anti-poaching unit, species returns and alien clearing. Every stay contributes to our conservation legacy.
