Kwena Luxury Suites

Kwena is quiet on purpose, made for couples and for guests aged twelve and over. The four luxury suites add more room to linger, a fireplace and an outdoor shower.

A honeymoon at Gondwana begins in one of four Kwena Luxury Suites, made for two. Outside your door, a private sun deck faces the mountains and the quiet of the reserve.

A private vehicle and guide for your stay are available at an additional cost, subject to availability. If you’d like the drives to yourselves, speak to our reservations team before you arrive and we’ll shape the days with you.

A fireplace for the cold nights. A shower inside and another outside. A bath deep enough to watch the weather from. A private sun deck where most people end up in the late afternoon. Cotton percale linen, bathrobes, a tea station, a bar fridge, a safety box and air conditioning, and Wi-Fi in the room for whenever you want it. Housekeeping comes twice a day, with a turn-down when you’d like it.

You share the lodge, the infinity pool, the bar and lounge and the indoor and outdoor dining tables.

Guided fynbos bush walks and e-bike safaris are part of your stay, each with a Gondwana guide. Spa treatments are available at an additional cost.

e-Bike safaris are for riders aged 16 and over, and anyone under 18 rides with an adult present and with parent or guardian consent. The roads are natural gravel, and riding is at your own risk.

A conservation fee is charged separately for each stay and goes to the Gondwana Conservation Foundation, so every stay contributes to our conservation legacy.

About four hours by road, and around forty-five minutes from George Airport. Gondwana lies on the Garden Route near Mossel Bay, so it fits neatly into a Cape Town and Garden Route trip. Check in from two in the afternoon, and you can be ready for the afternoon game drive.
