Four hours from Cape Town. Forty five minutes from George Airport.
Gondwana Game Reserve sits inland off the N2 near Mossel Bay. Follow the turns below to the main gate. Report to security there for directions to your stay.
The reserve is for overnight guests. We do not host day visitors.

From Cape Town
About 380 km. Roughly four hours by road.
Leave the city on the N2 toward George and Mossel Bay. You stay on the N2 for most of the journey.
As you near Mossel Bay, do not take the first Herbertsdale turning. Continue to the R327 sign for Herbertsdale / Mossdustria and turn left.
Follow that road for 14.5 km. Cross the railway line and stay on the road.
Turn right at the large brown Gondwana Game Reserve sign. After the cattle grid the surface becomes dirt. Drive slowly if you are in a low 2×4.
Continue straight over the cattle grid and keep right at the fork on the dirt road.
The main entrance gate is about 3.2 km from the fork. Report to security there for directions to your stay.
Please respect the speed limit inside the reserve. Animals have right of way.
From George Airport
About 75 km. Roughly 45 minutes.
Follow signs to the N2 toward Mossel Bay. Join the N2 and continue past Mossel Bay toward Cape Town. You will pass the Engen One Stop on your left and the Total fuel station on your right.
About 200 m after the Total station, turn right onto the R327 for Herbertsdale / Mossdustria.
Follow that road for 14.5 km. Cross the railway line and stay on the road.
